Who can use myblogs
- Anyone may read General and Teen stories, without an account. You need to be 18 or older to create an account, follow, like or share thoughts. When you join, you give your date of birth; please give it honestly. myblogs doesn’t otherwise check your age.
- Mature content is only for adults. It means adult themes. Sexually explicit pictures and writing aren’t allowed anywhere on myblogs.
- If you are under 18, read without an account, and don’t open Mature series.
Your writing is yours
- You keep the rights to what you write and upload. Publishing it lets anyone read it, and lets hosts store and show copies so the community can read it.
- You’re responsible for what you publish: your stories, images, profile, thoughts and the links you share.
- Only publish what you have the right to share. Don’t publish other people’s work, private information about others, or anything that breaks the law.
- Rate your series honestly. Content with adult themes must be rated Mature, so only adults see it. Never publish sexually explicit pictures or writing.
Hosts and moderation
- myblogs is made of hosts: websites like this one that show the same community. Each host is run by its own people and makes its own choices.
- A host may hide stories, images, thoughts or writers that break these terms or its own rules. Hiding on one host doesn’t delete anything, and other hosts decide for themselves.
- You can report a story to the host’s moderators, and block any writer for yourself. See Profiles, privacy and moderation.
Some things can’t be erased
- Stories, images and profiles are stored on IPFS, and a short public index of them is kept on a blockchain. Likes, thoughts and follows are signed by your wallet and copied between hosts.
- You can remove a story or a thought, and hosts stop showing it. But copies that people or other hosts already keep may remain, and the blockchain’s history can’t be changed. Publish with that in mind.
Your wallet and recovery phrase
- Your wallet is your account. Keep your recovery phrase private. Anyone with it controls your profile.
- If you lose it, nobody can recover your wallet for you, not even the host.
- myblogs runs on a public test network for now. Its coins have no money value.
No guarantees
myblogs is free and offered as it is. Hosts can go offline, change or stop. Keep your own copies of what matters to you: see Content copies and Settings → Your data.
Changes
These terms may change as myblogs grows. This page shows the date of the latest change. If you keep using myblogs after a change, the new terms apply.
